I started on this about 3 months ago when I ordered the kit, took RC4wd a while to get me the kit but it was well worth the wait! When I finally got it though I made the mistake of not putting blue locktight on all the preassembled stuff and I have noew lost about 1/4 of the bolts for the axles.

I will get some pics up as soon as my camera charges today. I

I started with pulling the springs out of the shocks and also getting rid of the rubber O-rings inside the shocks. I also am only running 1 spring. I will eventually buy a set of the new red soft springs when they are available,

I am runnig no foams for now also and really like it! They are the Trail Doc Xl on Creat a Crawler non beadlock slots.

Man thsoe tires really grip I am really impressed but also bummed a little because I had a fatality already! I stripped out the inside splines on my rear spool.

The body was a origional Hog Heaven Bruiser body in rough shape, and I kinda wanted to keep it a little rough because it is intended to look like a hunters truck. I will add all the hunting and fishing gear as time and money alowes. I got the camo decals off of ebay.

I am need some guns and fishing poles! anybody?

I was able to get teh front body mount to work out for me aswell, I just used some longer bolts and some spacers to extend the length of the front mount to the desired height.

I am going to paint the bed black and put in a camo rear window and try ot find a Mosey Oak decal for the hood! LOL

I am haveing a hard time though finding boxes to put my ESC and such in to water proof this rig, any ideas wear I can get such things.??

color is Tamiya light gun metal and camo clad.

Hope you guys like it. It is my first scaler.

I cant wait to get my new spool, I sent Rc4wd a email hope to here from them soon.

Nice truck mate, I have a bruiser shell too, but I am going to restore it to 'Bruiser' at some point.
Check out the thread on stripped spools, I did a hatchet job on the spool until I get a new one. A bit temp, but if you are any good with grinding and such, you could very easily make it a strong fix.

I thought about making your "adjustments" to my spool but I am also working on a X trial right now so I have plenty to do until my spool comes in or I at least here something from Rc4wd. Thanks for the Compliment.
