power what power?

hi guys , in this diagram featured in a magazine by john homes of holmes hobbies it shows his prefered wiring schematic for a crawler.
can anyone tell me how the reciever is getting powered in this setup?
im desperate as i got an electrician mate doing this for me ....cheers rob

when the battery is connected to the ecs and then connects to the revciver.. that will power every thing... then the bec will force more power to the servos so there is no loss power there.....
