Alright I haven't done this yet, but will give it a shot. Can't hurt anything.

If you notice your Knuckles hit the front of the Axle tubes. The backs don't. I'm going to remove some of the Material there and see if I can't get a few more degrees in steering.

See Pic's The red Circle shows what needs shaved. The Yellow shows where it hits.

There is a Lot of Material there. I'm going to just notch out 1/8in. In a C-Shape.

I was looking at that aswell but my tires already rub my shocks so much that my springs put on a show when I turn.:D
However with your setup I can see how that would not matter.

I have the same problem where the tires are already hitting the springs.

What rims are you running?

You could always lengthen your track width to clear the shocks .

Which is more important to you?

More steering or narrower track width ?

Well this won't work... Even if the Knuckle is shaved for more Clearance. The Axle Tube end hits aswell. On top of all that. The CVD's Max out the way it is now anyway.... So there will be no more Steering then what comes with it. Unless New CVD's get made to allow more Steering. Maybe with the Stronger Metal now. It can be done... Of course it would need to be tested..

I think it is better to go for 4wheel steering to have more steering

4WS is not allowed in 2.2 Comps.

I completely agree!!

The way my Bully rig is sitting now I am allready into the shocks when i steer to full lock. With most rigs out there in comps nowadays having front and rear dig.....Whats the point in tryin to get more steering.....My 2c.:D

with more steering you can dig up hill better.....I think the bullys could benefit from more steering angle..even if you buried the tire in the shock it may be worth the effort..?

I tried this mod tonight....massaged my XVD's and knuckles and axle tubes...got TONS and tons more steering:D:D...but I may have weakened the XVD...we will see how well it holds as testing continues....:)
