I am not new to RC's but I am new to the Scale/Crawler scene, I purchased a Axial SCX10 last month and have had a great time with it. In my search's I found this site and now I am thinking of getting the Trail Finder and setting it up as both a scaler and a crawler. Just wondering how the leaf spings will be compared to the link system like my SCX has now. Also if there are any crawlers in Minnesota let me know so I can get some crawling experience under my belt.

Welcome.
The leaf spring setup is for the real deal. Not much articulation. This is why the real crawlers use 4 link. The 4 link will give you a lot more room.
So if your wanting a scaler and a crawler, go with the 4 link.

I think I am going to get both setups when I make my order, that way I can try both on the TF chassis. Also I have noticed that some guys are running one of each so that might be fun to try.
Thanks for the info.
