HEHEH! That is a good idea. Items that arent selling well even, Take the price down on them and people may be more willing to hack them up and make them useful.

yep I hate to see parts go to waste.. :D just make a strict no return policy on those items all sold as is... state any possible problems they may have..

I like that too...even blems...for the right price we can figure something out to use it for...

A messed up Punisher Shaft is a great Scale item to strap to your roll bar...hate to use a good one...

that is a good idea for this. it will also help save on wasted machine time. i think parts that you make are not right i would just post them and make it clear they are a little messed up, and if we need some thing but wanted to mod it our self to work on a custom package we can get a crappy one to make work instead of getting a brand new one, which is good.
just another thought.

This is just my opinion, nothing from RC4WD.

Here is the only issue I see with this. RC4WD stands behind all there products. If they sell an item as a Blem it will be hard for them to keep track of them. People could say they got it from a distributor. RC4WD would stand behind it and then the person gets a new item, and they are stuck with the Blem again.

This would only be a small amount of people, but would it be worth it for RC4WD? Probably not.

I understand where you are coming from...working for a manufacturer we feel the same way but in my business it can have a more devastating effect.

It would have to be completely understood that they have no warranty or support. You are purchasing them as is.

I am on the wall on this one but it would help RC4WD make something on errors.

We thought about this idea for awhile already, but its probably not going to happen anytime soon.

There are a lots of reason behind this decision.

stamp BLEM right on the item somewhere.. somewhere not highly visable. but somewhere impossible to remove.. seen lots of big manufactures do that.

it doesnt really even have to say BLEM just some mark that RC4WD would recognize if some one tried to scam

that would be a solution to it. but also they are very strong behind the quality. so i am sure there wont be much in there. lol. my nose is brown....lol
i think that a mark would be perfect.
