I run also LiPos all the time - that´s another world, much better.
In my TF2 i ever use 3S LiPos with 2200mAh - that´s enough for a drivetime about 1h30min with the original RTR electronic from RC4WD.

If possible, return both battery and charger. You will be glad you did.

Make sure to get a charger that can charge lipo batteries, and capable of balance charging. It will be more out-of-pocket expense upfront, but the charger should not need replaced anytime soon.

It is important to respect a lipo battery from charging, to using, to storing. If you don't respect them, they can be dangerous. (Don't let that scare you away from the lipo batteries. The rewards far outweigh any risks.)

I suggest ordering a good quality balance charger, two or three lipo batteries, a couple pairs of deans style plugs, and a lipo-safe charging bag/pouch. Those items will help keep you happy and on the trail.

Looks like its about time for me to get in the band wagon

So just bought a TF2 from ebay with a castle sidewinder 3 esc, I guess 3S LiPo is the way to go?
Do I need a BEC for the castle or is that built inn?, cant find that information, and I am noob at this:-)
