Finally spring has arrived and got the chance to test the new gearbox. Also changed to softer springs on the mini-z buggy shocks to get a more smooth ride. I have also added two turns of golff clube lead tape on the beadlock rings for better performanse.
I wish I had an assistant while filming, but here is a small teaser. I will work on better filming. I promise.

The biggest change I did was the mini-z byggy oil shocks from Hot racing (KMB38TD01)
Made a huge difference in handeling, but restricted the flex a bit. I used 30WT oil and the red 0,52mm springs.
You will need to get the mini-z pillow ball set MV14 for the top shock mount (Direct fit to the 1/18 gelande) and change the lower mount on the shocks to rc4wd long M2 rod ends.
On the front lower rod ends you need to put some shrink tube on the rod end to accomedate the mini-z spring retainer.
Now the biggest mod I've done is the spring retainers at the back. Brass plate bent, drilled and soldered. i'm sure there are easier ways to do it, but hey I neede something to do in the darkest of winter months
