So I noticed a slight issue when the 4 door body is being mounted on the Boom Racing LWB converted chassis.

The rear wheels don't seem to line up against the wheel well.

Recommended by someone on another social platform to flip the leafs as the mounting holes may not be centered.

Did that but it still remains the same.

I doubled check that I have the spring leaf mounts and side body posts screwed in at the correct mounting holes.

Does anyone know what the issue is?

Meanwhile, I have dropped Boom Racing and email regarding this.

I am going to go with a compatibility issue between the RC4WD body and the Boom Chassis. I am willing to bet this Chassis was designed to be a go to for multiple bodies and it fits into the “good enough” category and fitment isn’t perfect on all bodies but close on most.

    Agree. I have a feeling, it's a "if it fits, it's compatible"

But what I'm worried about is that with a tire as small as mud thrashers you can already see the potential pinch points. I have Pitbull Growlers on the way, and I think they will rub.

You may be able to go to a u-bolt setup to mount the axle to the springs. This will allow you to move the axle slightly back on the spring.

So I finished mounting up the new wheels and tires.

In my opinion, while the Growlers are mean looking, the stock combo has a 'farm' look to it and has its place.

    What do you guys think?

    Before

    After

Looking really good. The tires you put on I'll have to agree look mean. I have the really bad itch to get my tf running. Makes me want to work overtime, almost, we'll see, haha.
