Thank you. I'm very grateful to have a place of my own to drive my trucks. Hope you've made it out of the hospital and are playing trucks now.

I tore the body apart, painted it red and reassembled. End result. A red truck that is now red. The decals are from the sheet that was included with the truck. You may also notice I added a winch, AISIN hubs, inner fenders and a radiator core support. The truck is pretty much ready for running as my class 1 next year. That was easy!

Sprayed the bed with liner, bed liner.

I replaced shackle mounts with the ones from BowHouse RC. They move the shackle back ever so slightly so it doesn't lock on full compression. Cheap, easy and useful. Like myself.

After a very rocky run today we're still in good shape

I also recorded some video. I'll have that posted in a day or two.

Looking very good! The body seems to sit a bit lower in the post red paint pics. Is this just the suspension settling in or did you mod it further? Thanks for everything!

          Probably the suspension breaking in.

I added some beef. Joke! They're made from brass. I'd have to keep the truck refrigerated if they were actually made from beef. Now that we have that cleared up, they enhanced the truck's cwalerbility.

            Where’s the beef lol

I have always worried about the rotational mass when adding these.

I mounted an RC4WD 8274 winch on the stock bumper with a little modifications. I wanted to be able to run the bumper tucked all the way in with the big winch but it wasn't clearing so I did a little cutting and brazing.

And in case you didn't notice, I painted the bumpers an ugly green color. I wanted to help make it stand out. I think I succeeded. I also threw on a snorkel because scale points.

Also took the opportunity to build a new rear bumper while I had the brazing stuff out. Simple and effective.

Went outside today to drive. Been too long since I’ve driven something. Trucks are fun!

How did you like the tires vs the iroks?
