40 series mud slinggers

can the 40 series tires and wheels be used on t-rex 60 axles?

nstalled a set of T-Rex axles on my SCX-10 and the rear axle is running the opposite direction. Its to late to tear in to them tonight, but hoped someone has some insight on this. Im guessing the gears can be flipped, but never had a set of these apart.

do you by chance have the rear axle upside down? I'm pretty sure the gears can't be flipped. But you could mount the link mounts the wrong way i think.
