Stubs Bully!!
I have been running an XR for a while now but recently got my Bully back. Shortly after that i got sponsored my RC4WD and them the motor in my XR crapped out. So i have been driving the Bully again and i have to say i have missed it. It is so consistent and indestructible. So thought i would but my build thread up in here. I am running the light weight axles with heavy tubes in front. I like it like this because i only have to run 3oz in the front wheels.
It will have 2 fxr's soon but for now....
1 fxr
punk dig
Hitec 7950
integy 45t's
CKRC Droid chassis
SCX10 plastic schocks
1" SLW's 750 front/600's rear
--5lb 5oz RTR--
The front axle is clocked. Not sure how much, i just eyeballed the holes with a hand drill I ground out the "C" and knuckle to get as much cleance as possible. I am very close to the same as 300's.
I've done a little work to the rear axle! Tubes are turned down to 11.5 mm, cases are ground and the tops are cut off. The shock mount is cut off the link mount and a new hole was drilled as close to the link hole as would clear. The upper link mount was cut as short as i could get it also.

Looking good, stubs!
I recently modified a set ov v6 front driveshafts in my minilathe and managed to get 51 degrees of steering out of them. Might be a mod worth considering as steering throw is the area were the Bully is lacking.

Thanks! The tires are just Sedona's with shaved sidewalls. I like all my tires with shaved side walls. I shave my Rover's, sedona's, and BC's.

I traded my XR for a super Bully because the Bully just works better for me.
So now the Bully has 2 fxr's, and 45t brood motors. I am also running 0.9" D_Lux wheels.
The FXR's decased and the soldier posts removed.
Extra material dremeled off the case. There is 6mm of aluminum there, now there is less then 3mm

Thanks! I am excited to take it to ECC. The last big comp I took it to was shamrock showdown 2011 and got 5th with it. The best I ever did with the XR was 11th at nats.

Will post pics in MR Creepy thread this weekend.

Another update. I think all of the RC4WD Team drivers need to switch axles because these things are amazing! I could not be happier with it. It is a little wide right but I am waiting on narrower hubs. The truck is sitting at 4.76lb rtr.

I second that one.
When you think of the XR10's and Bergs, how much money you have to put in to them to just get close to the durability of the Bully's...it is amazing that people go that direction.
What people are doing with the bully's with lightening them and other mods, it doesn't cost any more money and they are sick.
May have to send mine out to you for some "lightening".

I agree with this.
I trying to get some driver to get Bully light weight axles.
Some already have the XR10's but they keep on breaking.
My Bully is at 5lbs and I may get another 3Oz out. (The purple one)
No wheel weights thought.

The rear axle and box is typical to what Stubs has done.(post 6)
Front axle & box still standard. Both front and rear have V6 shafts with the gears drilled.
Just love my Bully.

Thanks!
Yep, with Eric's tubes the only difference between bully's and bergs is bully are cheaper, stronger, and a tinny bit heavier. These are my dream come true axles!
