Just add fender flares and paddle tires!

it would need to be made far mor burly than say the timberwolf (my only point of reference) . maybe solid stainless bar 3/16th - has to be strong but remain scale looking? big hits and tumbles a plenty require a tight overengineered chasis with loads of cross members and strong welds.

The Hotness is made from 3/16" mild steel tube and has taken so many tumbles spills If I had them all on video It would be a box set. You would not want a tuber to be made from solid tube it would bend too easily and would be very heavy. My chassis alone weighs almost 2lbs. This is what your looking for.

Every one loves it. I got guys from my local club ready to buy a kit when they come out, and I have had several offers to buy my chassis once I get it back. I don't think I can sell her though. I will need to wait and see what the RC4WD kit looks like. roborg is right the chassis can be set up to do anything. It is one tough cage.

indeed it is a lovely chasis fella! could easily be made to look and perform like a formula off road machine , i do think the chasis geometry looks more king of hammers than formula off road but what would be great if you could put on some wheels with sand paddle tires on so we can properly get an idea how close we are
ive seen a couple of custom chasis on a forum in iceland and yours is in a different league quality wise! im jealous of your skills!

http://rc-foff.net/smf/index.php?topic=677.0

the larger car is 1/8th the smaller 1/10th.

Dead ringers except for the 4 wheel independent setups.

these wheels are rear wheels. they are 12mm hex and the pro-line sand paws fit them:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=310082589832

they look good together as seen on this build thread and are all available on ebay in the usa:

http://rccrawler.com/forum/showthrea...t=85030&page=6

i have bought a set of both, it takes about 5 days to ship, so as soon as i get them i will do a mock up and post picks on the timberwolf (its all ive got to use).

should be fun!!!

i received the first set of the TAMIYA SP-452 STADIUM BLITZER REAR WHEELS (note rear wheels only have the hex fitting), as i hoped they fit the trex 60 axles like a glove! cant wait to put on the proline sand paws when they arrive . i will do a full mock up then
