OK guys...I have been waiting for some things and of course they all show up today.

I did a marathon Mock build so that I can take it to the comp tomorrow...Heading to STOMP tonight so I will have no time for anything else.

I did the tear down. Man are these axles shafts huge...Yeap, 8mm.





I put a generous amount of Gear Jelly on the gears and thread locked all the screws.




I took the V11 35T's off the 2.2 for the Super and put something "special" on the 2.2...that you will have to wait to see.

I learned long ago that if a company makes something specific for their product...GET IT. So I ordered two of the Super Bully Steering Kits. (They just released on for 1/4 scale servos)

They bolted up perfect...

The one package that I have been waiting for is the First Made, will be repeated, "The Grand TAG" by The Eye.

Even though I had a tuber ready to go...I miss the bodied rigs and with a TVP chassis, I am not completely giving up on the format.

I wanted to inboard the lower links so I notched the skid plate.

This thing is awesome.

I started assembling it and thought...this thing needs some bling...so out came the Mother's Aluminum Polish and there you have it...

I also had him cut me some HC lower links.

I put the lower links on and then stole the uppers from the TXT Super.

His test rig he used 4" shocks and link mounted them at the bend.

I had a set of stock HPI Savage Shocks lying around and figured I would try them.

Now, it is putting me a 19" WB which is too much for my liking but it is together.

After tomorrow it will get torn back down and assembled correctly.

Whats the steering like...got any shots from the top with the steering locked out?

19" isn't Legal... The Rules are 16-18in.. But if it's not being built for Comps, or his local club doesn't care... 19in is a good wheelbase.
