R2 tranny w/ Rockrider Kit

The ARTR RR kit come with the regular R2 tranny. Using this tranny was meant for the more "new" to the hobby. You can always use the R2 for a scale project, and buy the R2 Dig tranny.

What links would I use to set this up? For the money, if going with a basic build, the "complete" kit sure is cost effective over buying the chassis, axles, tranny etc.

What are the opinions on the plastic T-Rex axles? Big price difference to go with the metal axles. If going with the plastic T-rex, I think I would still get the complete kit and upgrade the tranny and maybe wheels.

That's what I'm thinking of doing. Going with the ARTR and upgrading the tires and wheels. Running it for a bit with R2 and then upgrading that to the R2-2speed for a rock racer type buggy. I love the look of this thing. May also upgrade to the metal T-Rex axles but thats down the road....

32pitch, there are a bunch of pinions on the rc4wd site.
