It appears that the diff case is going to cause some link/shock mounting issues on the 1 side

ok i opened them all up a little and i had to shorten them. to fit the real scale length. go ahead and look at the scorpion chassis and you will see what they look like. i am working on a mounting plat form for them soon.

          Very nice Dave.
Put the steering rod on the top of the knuckles.

I placed the steering rood on the top for clearance and bump issues that are common in axles. When i finial engineer the front of the scorpion i am going to try and put them on the in side of the axle.

              Those look great! Nice job.

You may need to have several bolts to hold the cover on. With the type of pressure that the pinion will see it may cause some stress.

yea, i have a program that can tell me how man per foot lb i am going to need on that. i think the only thing that is not going to be scale on the back is the fact that they are going to have some 3mm screws sticking out of them.

                  I don't!

Not sure how much pressure they will see.

it is more or less thread pressure. the program said medium so i dont think they need to be to beefed up. probably some 1.5MM dia button screws

Just as long as they have a good bite in the material and I would definatly use button heads. They look better and have more face surface. If "face surface" is a term.

Aluminum is the only way to go on these. Would be the same looks as the real deal! Just MO.

I agree. Even though RC4WD is trying to produce more plastics for afford ability. These need to be Al.

Ha...machining and cost would be way to much. Of course, I could make some tooling recommendations.
