I was just wondering if there is an open and/or sealed differential option for the Hardcore SC Axle? I'd like to run on pavement every so often but I don't want to wear out my axle and tires prematurely. Is this rear-end compatible with conventional 1/10 or 1/8 scale bevel diffs or is this just a one off design?

    I appreciate any insight.

Wheelie King internals also work in the axle, so you can have a open diff option.

You can use Wheely King diffs and Axial gears, 14/36 for more speed.

Oh thanx, much appreciated. I'll will keep that in mind!

On a side note though, I do think it is needed to make stronger link mounts
for the outside links because they are very thin where the screws hold it.
I've already torn one side off, I will make some beefier ones today for it.
Other than that it's a very solid axle. And that R2 1:1 tranny works nice too,
holds up to 2x 2S 30C 5000mAh batts in series on a 8 lbs. truck with a Velineon!

We already have made some stronger link mounts:

They have more meat around the holes and are thicker. My advice is to use button heads on the lower link mounts. The cap screws cut in to the mount a bit.
