Old Man Emu shocks

Are the Old Man Emu shocks designed to hold oil? I want to pull the spring and use a oil filled shock to damper the leaf springs.

Thanks for the replies. I guess I will buy the SuperLift shocks.

They can take oil. Running soft spring and 60w oil and seems much smoother as well.

Os it the same for the 1:18 scale Old Man Emu's? looking at running the soft springs with 25wt oil for indoor crawling
